Happy holidays to everyone from APACC!
We had a successful first quarterly event earlier this month. We thank our guest speakers, June Schumann and Jaime Lim for providing their perspectives on corporate social responsibility. We also thank Tulsee Doshi for providing the entertainment for our event. Further, we thank United Way of the Columbia- Willamette for allowing us to use its facilities for our event.
In other news, APACC welcomes our first student intern, Tristia VanNiekerk. Ms. VanNiekerk is a senior at Portland State University majoring in Japanese and minoring in Business Administration. She will be helping us organize events and increase benefits for our members. APACC thanks intellectual property law firm Kolisch Hartwell, P.C. for providing Ms. VanNiekerk with an office in its downtown Portland location.
Finally, we are pleased to offer free advertising in our newsletter to members that are non-profit organizations, government agencies, and business members. Please see the details in this newsletter. We will be adding more benefits for our members in the near future.
