Jaime Lim
Phuong Bui is a graduating senior at the University of Portland. She will obtain a bachelor’s degree in Biology with two minors in Spanish and Chemistry this coming May. Phuong’s extra curricular activities include being a member of Alpha Delta Lambda Honor Society, Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society, and American Chemical Society. Her interests include animals, outdoor activities, soccer, travel, and food. In the future, she hopes to travel the world in order to try actual “authentic” food from every country.
Peter Sabido is an intellectual property attorney at Kolisch Hartwell, P.C. His practice includes obtaining, licensing, and enforcing patent, trademark, copyright, and trade-secret rights for his clients. His practice also includes analyzing and opining on the patentability and right-to-manufacture of inventions, the validity and infringement of patents, and the usability and registrability of trademarks and service marks.
Yong “Eric” Yang is a managing director of Westlake Wealth Management, LLC in Portland, Oregon. Eric provides fiduciary consulting and investment advice to small and medium-sized businesses on the implementation and management of 401K plans. In addition to his duties at Westlake, Eric also has a private solo legal practice where he focuses on legal issues in the areas of debtor/creditor rights, will and trust, and closely-held family business entities. Eric holds an international finance degree from USC Marshall School of Business and a law degree from University of Oregon. 
Sophorn Cheang holds the Board Treasurer position of Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce of Oregon and SW Washington and is an aspiring, young, enthusiastic leader who is active not only in the Cambodian-American Community of Oregon, but also involves with other organizations such as Colored Pencils and Transitions Global. In addition, her personal and professional development is attributed to the many mentors, seasoned leaders and professionals that she is involved with. Being bless with the opportunities in the America, she feels that she could and should give something back to this world. Sophorn earned a B.S. in Finance from Portland State University. She is also a Vice President of Programs and Events of Cambodian-American Community of Oregon. She is fluent in the Cambodian written and spoken language, as well as English. Currently, Sophorn is a Real Estate Broker with Georgetown Realty, Inc. 
Annie Chen is an Account Executive for Entercom, the fifth largest broadcasting company in the United States. Entercom owns and operates 5 top Portland radio stations: 94/7 Alternative Portland, 99.5 The Wolf, 97.1 Charlie FM, 92.3 KGON - Classic Rock, 105.1 The Buzz, and 1080 The Fan. In addition to her career in media, Annie is also a small business owner and floral designer. Floral Sunshine specializes in weddings and other special events.
Jin Huang has worked as a contract specialist within local governmental agencies, including a focus on Minority, Women-owned and Small Business. Jin is passionate about creating opportunities for disadvantaged businesses to gain access to contracts with local government agencies. A chemistry graduate of Washington State University-Pullman, Jin has varied interests. She is a published photographer, specializing in fine art and events photography via JH Photography. An avid outdoors person, she loves snowshoeing, camping, hiking, photographing and RV traveling. You can find Jin in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest on most weekends. When she can get away, Jin also enjoys international trips as a backdrop for her photography. Recently she returned from a month-long trip to SE Asia. Her photography credits include a recent stint in Korea, where as a civilian she provided the content and photography for an Army battalion newsletter.
Ping Khaw-Sutherland is a professional visual artist, designer as well as a small business owner. In the past, she has dedicated twenty some years in educating children of all ages and adult in arts. Her past experience includes working with non-profit agencies in fundraising, workshops, presentations, event organizing, graphic design and community outreach. She also has many years of experience in product marketing and analysis. Her current business goal is to bring the financial growth back to local community by promoting local products to global market.
After graduating cum laude from the University of Washington in 1997, Carolyn Hyun-Kyung Kim worked as a business analyst for CheilJedang Corporation in Seoul, Korea. Her key contributions included analyzing past and current Korean and global business environments and drafting strategic objectives for the company’s entertainment division. 
H.Q. La owns a State Farm Insurance Agency in Portland, and has been with State Farm since 1993. He is a qualified professional whose job is to make things a little easier for his clients, by helping them to select the right auto, home, life, or business insurance plan to protect them and their families. In addition, H.Q. is a Registered Representative, specialized in retirement planning. H.Q. immigrated with his family to Oregon in 1979 from Hong Kong. He graduated from Willamette University with a Business and Economics degree. He speaks Cantonese and Vietnamese. In addition to APACC, H.Q. is a member of the Chinese American Citizen Alliance, the Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneur, and the Portland Business Alliance. He volunteers with the Asian Health Service Center, the American Cancer Society, and the Make A Wish Foundation.
Leslie Liao is a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch. She provides financial planning and wealth management solution for clients. Her area of concentration are in professional money management, retirement planning, and estate planning. She also holds the Charter Retirement Planning Consoler designation, and focus on delivering retirement planning strategy for individuals and small businesses. She was an accountant for 5 years before joining Merrill Lynch in 2007. She hold a Bachelor degrees in Accounting and Finance, a Master degree in Financial Analysis from Portland State University. 
Takao Matsuda was a Business Banker in West Linn at a major Bank. He also worked for Asian banks in San Francisco Bay Area for many years. During that time he volunteered for the Japan Society Northern California and Keizai Society (Japan business forum).

Annie O'Brien is a true Northwesterner, raised a proud Spudder from Ridgefield, Washington and a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. She graduated with honors from the University of Portland and then continued her education at Portland State University receiving a Masters in Communication. Annie worked in the high-pressure world of marketing and advertising in Seattle before moving back to Oregon and starting her own company, LVD Media. Annie took a short break in 2006 and became the Director of Marketing and Communications for American Heart Association while living in Denver, Colorado. In 2008 Annie and her family moved back to Portland, Oregon missing the fresh air, big trees and water and reopened LVD Media as a full service marketing agency.
